OpenAI introduced its new text-to-video AI model, Sora, allowing users to generate one-minute videos based on text prompts. Despite positive reception from tech enthusiasts, Elon Musk, founder of SpaceX and frequent critic of OpenAI, appeared unimpressed. Musk took to social media, sharing a screenshot of a sarcastic prompt mocking OpenAI CEO Sam Altman's leadership and Sora's capabilities. This move follows Musk's previous criticisms of OpenAI's transformation from an open-source non-profit to a closed-source, profit-driven entity controlled by Microsoft.

OpenAI's latest text-to-video model, Sora, received praise from tech enthusiasts for its innovative capabilities, enabling users to create short videos with simple text prompts. However, Elon Musk, a vocal critic of OpenAI, threw shade at the unveiling on social media.

After OpenAI CEO Sam Altman shared videos generated by Sora in response to user prompts, Musk responded with a sarcastic screenshot, questioning the transformation of OpenAI into a profit-driven, closed-source company under Altman's leadership. This isn't the first time Musk has criticized Altman and OpenAI's evolution, as he previously expressed dissatisfaction with the company's shift from its original open-source, non-profit mission.
